Hi !!! I am an independent Film maker, working on my script for my first directorial debut as a Hindi feature film director...Made a couple of big videos, one is for a song JAI HIND which was composed the great Ustad Zakir Husain and the lyrics were by the popular Javed Akhtar alongwith a string of popular and great singers as Pt.Jasraj, Shankar Mahadevan,Alka Yagnik, Jagjit Singh, Sonu Niigam, Yesudas, Kavita Krishnamurthi and a lot of musicians who were also featured in the Video the like of Dr. L. Subramaniam, Selva Ganesh, Pt. Hari Prasad Chaurasia, Rakesh Chaurasia. It also featured some very important personalities from our country like Kapil Dev, Mohanlal,Bhaichung Bhutia, Dhanraj Pillay, Rahul Dravid, Shabana Azmi, Vishwanathan Anand, this video can be seen on my website www.yulekurup.com in the music videos section on my reel . Recently did a sexy video for the promotion of a film 13 B with R. Madhavan as the main lead and the song is Crazy Mama which was played across all channels and the film inspite of a dull start initially has managed to do very well in the second week. The Video has been very well appreciated too as they got to see Maddy as he is fondly called in a new sexy avatar alongwith a Item Dance number girl Rachana in it and what intrigued the aidiences most was to see Maddy as the Devil which also worked well for the film....Maddy is a great guy to work with and am happy to know that the film has picked up and is really doin really well, this also can be seen on my website. I have done a lot of Advertising & Television work prior to my venturing into the movies business with some successful shows on Indian Television like Indian Idol-1st Season, Khullja Sim Sim, Kismey Kitnaa hai dum and also the 1st Star Parivaar Awards. Before making the transition to cinema i made a show for the channel Bindaas titled "DADAGIRI" WHICH GOT INTO IT'S OWN CONTROVERSIES which was never the intention but i guess realities have their share of controversies and this one had one that got blown out of proportion. Lot's more to say and lot's to talk about what i am doin but i guess that will happen the next time round....Enjoy !!! Keep smilin :-)

Immortalise Martyrs Of 26/11

We would like to bring your kind attention towards our proposal sent to communication minsitry , Govt. Of India & Prime Minister's Office regarding issuance of single commemorative postal stamp on Martyrs Of 26/11 Mumbai attack..
It is very very unfortunate that communication ministry feels that the martyrs of 26/11 are no extra ordinary persons & communication ministry feels that the proposal for the issuance of postal stamp on martyrs of 26/11 is not worth.
We on behalf of All India Philatelist's Association & as a citizens of India would like to raise few questions from communication minsitry with the help of print media regarding there reply .
1) Do we need to wait for 10 years as refered in the reply (attatched herewith) to honour the martyrs of 26/11 , who have sacrificed there lives for the nation?
2) Can communication ministry clarify if there is an guideline by communication ministry that only after 10 years of death the postal stamp can be issued then there are many examples including Industrialist Dhirubai Ambani & others on whom the postal stamp was issued within 2 years of there death then how can the commnication ministry remembers there guidelines in case of the martyrs of 26/11 ?
3) In past 10 years if we see there are many postal stamp issued by communication ministry on the personalites whom no one have known or of those people who dont have any national contribution but then too they were honoured with the postal stamp & when the proposal for the issuance of postal stamp on martyrs of 26/11 arises then why do they reply that if they issue stamp on martyrs of 26/11 then they will get more proposals for the issuance of stamp on heros of kargil , delhi blast's ?
We now seek support from the media to help us raise our issue against communication ministry and make them accountable for there partial behaviour towards there decision of not honouring martyrs of 26/11 .
We hope that we will get the support of media to take communication ministry on task and this will help us in fighting injustice by getting stamp issue on "Martyrs Of 26/11 " .
