Hi,
Welcome to Timesmedianet.com, your
next-gen tool for online PR functions and business news
dissemination.
Let's introduce
ourselves:
-
Medianet is a PR brand managed by
Optimal Media Solutions Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bennett,
Coleman and Co. Ltd (the Times of India group), one of the world's
largest media conglomerates with a formidable presence in print,
on radio and TV and the internet.
Our new web
offering:
-
Having serviced clients mainly through
print media as a PR vehicle, we're now here with a website for
clients to build up an information bank that is easily accessible
and visible to other PR companies, industry peers, business
journalists, advertising and marketing professionals and informed
consumers.
What's
special:
-
We allow our subscribing members to
upload soft copies of their Press Releases on a 24/7 basis
directly from their offices, homes, cybercafés and other points of
internet access. This releases could show immediately, or at a
time and date specified by clients.
-
The website therefore becomes a centre
for comprehensive industry intelligence to see what industry
majors are doing. The Press Releases uploaded by our members are
UNTOUCHED by our editors, and show INTACT on the web without any
changes being made by us. So that's "Business news. From those who
make news. UNCENSORED." (Look at the top of the page - we've put
it up there for you!)
Exclusive features:
-
Submissions from clients will include
Press Releases that can be uploaded as frequently as required,
besides photos and information on new product launches,
audio-video files of advertisements, events. TV commercials etc,
CEO speeches, company profiles (updated from time to time),
financial reports, job vacancies in member companies and business
blogs (open to all).
How this works:
-
We offer subscription-based memberships
(with specific validity periods) to our clients. Our marketing
representatives in the respective cities get in touch with you to
offer you a subscription-based membership. Bona-fide members are
given secure log-in IDs and passwords to access their accounts.
-
Each account holder gets a specific
package comprising all types of submissions in the categories
mentioned above (Press Releases, photos, job vacancies etc). He is
able to upload his Press Releases directly onto our website.
Members' submissions in the other categories reach us for file
formatting and show on the web within two working days.
-
Once logged in, a member is able to
view his account log and status. Each member gets two sets of
folders - one set showing his own submissions in each category,
datewise, and the other set of folders showing the submissions
from other clients (Press Releases, new product launches etc) -
all items that he has saved for future use. (It's a kind of
electronic file cabinet, with one set of folders containing his
own submissions, and the other set of folders containing
information saved from other sections of our site). Each member
creates his own customised information bank, keeping track of
developments, strategies, tie-ups, value-adds etc being offered by
peers, competitors and associates.
-
We also encourage communication and
community-building activities and allow members (with their
permission) to display and save each others' contacts.
Publicity, publicity
& more publicity:
-
Our web-based services will get
complete support from our print publications like Times of
India and
Economic Times, our TV news channel (Times Now) and the
advertising and event management divisions of the Times of
India
group. Our
editors would always be looking at Timesmedianet.com to see what's
newsworthy. Great news made here finds its way from the web to TV
screens and print broadsheets.
-
Also, we'll organise and promote
business events across major metros in
India
featuring Timesmedianet.com members, giving
them greater exposure to captive audiences and acting as a
catalyst to enhance business.
Speak your mind, no holds
barred:
-
While newspaper publications have their
own limitations and won't let you say certain things your way, you
can say it all here. Our open business blog board allows anyone to
debate on whatever's making business news. Agree, disagree, come
with a zeal to criticise strategies, slam policies, chide
monopoly, take up the cudgels for the consumer, say anything that
sets the bizworld spinning! Really good blogs might just find
their way into the newspaper!
If you have any questions or comments,
write to us at medianetweb@timesgroup.com
including your name, name of the company and office address, job
title, land phone and mobile numbers and email address. We'd look
forward to hearing from you.
Cheers and happy surfing!
